Nothing, not even the pouring rain all day long, could bring them down. They are the loveliest and kindest and, despite all of our prayers, the rain just wouldn’t stop. But they insisted it was fine; they were getting married and that was all that mattered. I love when couples keep their priorities checked like that! It’s so beautiful and makes the entire day so much brighter.

Their ceremony was held at St. James Catholic Church in Washington and the stained glass windows provided a great backdrop to Brenna’s stunning ball gown. You know I’m a sucker for ball gowns…

You can see just how much it was raining in these photos, but we attempted a quick run to the park anyway. I’m telling you, these two were so laid back and wonderful!

I love the excitement Kevin captured right before these two walked down the aisle! They are so cute!
After the ceremony, at some point during the reception, the rain subsided for 2 minutes. I quickly grabbed Brenna & Mitch and we ran outside, but by the time we got there, the wind had begun to whip around and the rain started again. We stopped under an overhang for these two photos, which I love!
