What a beautiful day! I always love weddings at Walker Homestead and the attention to detail that Brooke & Wyatt brought to their day was absolutely stunning.
First of all, it should be noted that Brooke had a two-for-one gown…meaning, she started the day with a beautiful tulle overlay skirt that made it appear to be a gorgeous summery ballgown, but then for the reception, she removed the tulle and it was a beautiful beaded dress underneath, giving her two entirely different looks in a matter of about 60 seconds.
They chose a classic black and white color palette for their wedding which, if you’ve ever been to Walker Homestead, you know fits so well with that space. I am always game for a good black and white wedding and I think it’s one of the few color palettes that will forever feel timeless. It was so well executed that my second shooter, Bre, and I were feeling a little trippy photographing the reception decor because it felt like we were photographing in black and white, especially if we were focusing on parts that didn’t have any of the greenery!
