I’ve been lucky to photograph the Smith family many times over the years and looking back at their previous sessions always makes me smile, particularly when I see how much affection Owen has for his little sister. (Well, except for the first year, haha.) They always bring authenticity and we always roll with it. Last year, Piper just wanted to tickle Owen and he just wanted to explore. The year before, Piper’s sweet response to my every request was, “Okay.” This year, we finally got perfect weather (we’ve had super hot and super cold, but never just right until now) and it took about 1 minute for the kids to warm up to me again and bring all their silliness to their photos.
