Melanie and Dan are not new around here. You may remember their stunning wedding several years ago and, since then, I’ve photographed their pregnancy announcement with Maya, a family session with Melanie’s parents and sister, and now, in this beautiful season of waiting for their second child to arrive! The last time I saw them was the fall of 2019 so, no surprise, it took Maya a bit of time to warm up to me, but, look! We got a smile!! 

Most of my favorite photos, as you will see, are just photos of their interactions and play. As a parent, these are the photos I most cherish of my own family. The normal, the movement, the laughter or gentle hugs, the reality of parenting.
