This past weekend, we attended a wedding as guests. Wedding photographers, you get it. That makes 2 weddings that I have been to in the last 4 years not as the wedding photographer. It. Felt. Strange.
Kevin and I hosted Father’s Day at our new house yesterday. Turns out I like hosting! It’s hard work, mostly because I was raised in a home where you clean, no scour, the house beforehand and cook at least double to triple the amount of food that you need. Kevin kept telling me that I was going to too much work. I said, “Have you met my mother?”
Last night at 11:30, I was practicing this:

I went for a run and almost ran into two deer. They wouldn’t get out of my way until I was about 5 yards from them.
Aside from deer, rabbits, and lots of birds behind our house, we finally identified another creature that has been roaming through our neighbor’s yard: a hedgehog. We moved into quite the happening neighborhood.
That really big jar of Nutella? Gone. In two days. Boom.
