I was so excited when Bethany and Zach reached out a few months ago about newborn photos! I met them back in 2014 (!!) when I photographed their engagement shoot and loved celebrating with them at their wedding in 2015. Shortly after, they purchased a home about half a mile from us so we are basically neighbors (though half a mile in town seems a lot further than half a mile in the country, haha, when it comes to neighborhoods). We tentatively set a date for their in-home lifestyle newborn photos and promised to keep in touch when Bethany gave birth.

One morning last week, when Aiden was 12 days old, I walked over to Bethany and Zach’s home and was able to meet their beautiful, perfect little boy. What a joy it is for me to get to witness and document so many monumental moments for people! I will never get over it.
